Get your life back after a concussion
Post concussion syndrome is a frustrating condition that affects all areas of your life.
70% of people who sustain a concussion are back to normal within 2-4 weeks.
However, if you are reading this I am guessing you are a part of the other 30% of people who continue to experience persistent concussion symptoms for months or even years following a head trauma.
Headaches, memory issues, lack of focus and concentration, insomnia, fatigue, visual disturbances, balance issues and much more.
What we know about Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS) is that it is so much more than a brain injury.
Concussion changes the way your brain and nervous system function.
Most notably your nervous system gets "stuck" in an ongoing state of fight-flight activity known as Symapthetic Dominance.
This state delays healing and causes your symptoms to stick around.
The key to getting your life back after a concussion and eliminating the frustrating PCS symptoms is to heal your nervous system.
Mind Body Therapy is an internationally recognized healing modality that helps you get out of fight-flight mode and start healing.

1. Release
The first step in your concussion recovery journey is to release the specific daily triggers that are reactivating your symptoms.
2. Rewire
Healing concussion requires you to rewire your nervous system and get out of fight-flight mode. Here we focus on techniques to activate your vagus nerve and the parasympathetic nervous system.
3. Reprogram
After a concussion, your visual and vestibular system is disrupted. Here we help your visual and vestibular system find balance.

In 2013 Jake experienced 3 concussions over 5 weeks playing Australian Rules Football.
Following his concussion for months he struggled with fatigue, headaches, concentration issues, balance issues, and vestibular problems. He would get horrible dizziness using elevators, or when looking at complex shapes in the carpet.
Post Concussion Syndrome made it nearly impossible for him to study at university or even drive his car.
Luckily, he was surrounded by some amazing practitioners who helped him fully recover.
Since that experience Jake has had a special interest in Post Concussion Syndrome and the role of the nervous system in healing.
He now takes private 1:1 consultations online helping people who have struggled with persistent injuries and chronic pain to finally heal, even after traditional methods have failed.
